Being a transfer student is not easy. You have to make adjustments, try to make new friends and learn things about your teachers. I am not new to the school but I am new to the group. During the first day of school, my adviser introduced me to my new classmates before flag ceremony. My classmates made me feel welcome. The first day went on, introducing myself in almost every subject, take time studying and observing my surroundings and feeling a little bit uncomfortable. The following days, Licah and the rest of the gang, welcomed me to their group. It made my heart warm for they accept me as a new friend. At first, I was a little shy but since I am someone who cannot stop from always talking, I talked things to them. I joined clubs in the school and I helped them if they need my help. I felt that I am being myself again after a few adjustments.
The month of July is the Nutrition Month. Since, I am one of the members of the Homemakers' Club, I helped our president go through the planning stage. Some of the contests were held days before the day of culminating the Nutrition Month. These contests are Poster Making and Essay Writing. The big day came and it started with negative comments. We tried our best to make it successful but it is not the best for them. Yes, it is not easy to be the host of an event for it takes a lot of planning and brainstorming but I'm still satisfied with what we have done. I learned from our experiences during that day and I promised to myself to do better next time.
